Program a 3300 ICP as a Stand-alone Voice Mail Server

Overview:

The 3300 ICP voice mail system can be used as a stand-alone voice mail behind any PBX that has DPNSS or QSIG trunks.

Programming

To program a 3300 ICP as a stand-alone voice mail:

  1. License and Option Selection form
    Program the number of digital links, voice mail licenses, and country variant.
    If OPS Manager will be used to manage the voice mail users in a cluster, select Yes in the Networking Option field.

  2. Reboot To reboot the system, press the Reset button on the Controller.

  3. Controller Module Configuration form
    Set the Programmed Module Type to Dual FIM.

  4. Network Services Unit Configuration form
    Set the type of NSU and the protocol to be used.

  5. Program digital trunks QSIG or MSDN/DPNSS

  6. Program voice mail.
