Ensure the DHCP Server has been programmed
Ensure that the IP device licenses are entered in the License and Option Selection form.
Ensure that the IP Telephone Set Registration access codes, Set Replacement Access Codes, and Set Registration Security codes are specified in the System Options Assignment form.
Ensure that Class of Service, Interconnect Restriction, and Intercept Handling is programmed for each device.
You cannot assign static IP addresses to the Mitel 5001 and 5201 IP Phones from the phones because they do not have displays. The phones must have displays in order to provide the required programming prompts. To assign static IP addresses to these phones, create static reservations for the IP and MAC addresses, enable DHCP, and then perform a DBMS Save.
The 5302 SIP Phone is initially provisioned with a single line. A second line (with the same DN as the first line) can be added using the Multiline Set Key Assignment form.
This procedure applies to the Mitel 5001 and 5201 IP Phone. For 5302 SIP Phone programming, see SIP Phone Support Programming.
