Before You Begin

Programming

To program analog telephones:

  1. ONS/OPS Circuit Descriptor Assignment form.

  2. Change the circuit descriptor contents (if required).

  3. For ONS circuits, change the transmission parameter to SHORT.

  1. Analog Set Assignment form.

  2. Assign a directory number, circuit descriptor number, and an interconnect number to the circuit.

  1. Default Account Code Definition form (optional).

  1. Station Service Assignment form.

  2. Assign a Class of Service, Class of Restriction, Default Account Code Index number (optional), and Intercept Number to the telephone's directory number.

  1. User Configuration form

  2. Use the User Configuration search field to locate the directory number that you assigned to the device. Assign a name, department, and location to all directory numbers in the system.

  3. Note: If you delete telephones, you must also delete the corresponding directory entries and voice mailboxes.
