CPN Substitution

Purpose:

The outgoing CPN feature delivers the calling party's DID number to the network on embedded PRI trunks and embedded BRI trunks ("T" interface only). You can define CPN substitution for individual DID numbers or ranges of DID numbers.

Use this form to indicate which substitutions to apply on a link or to program default CPN values if no substitution CPN is indicated. Use the DID Ranges for CPN Substitution form to associate DID numbers with CPN substitution values.

System-generated, protected field. Identifies the port (1 or 2) in the module.

Default Voice CPN

Enter a default CPN substitution value. Enter up to 14 characters (digits 0-9).

The system uses this value for DID numbers not associated with the link

Index

Enter an index number between 1 and 100. Index numbers refer to substitutions programmed in the DID Ranges for CPN Substitution form. If a DID number sent over this link matches the DID range programmed for this index number, then the system makes the substitution.
