The outgoing CPN feature delivers the calling party's DID number to the network on embedded PRI trunks and embedded BRI trunks ("T" interface only). You can define CPN substitution for individual DID numbers or ranges of DID numbers.
Use this form to indicate which substitutions to apply on a link or to program default CPN values if no substitution CPN is indicated. Use the DID Ranges for CPN Substitution form to associate DID numbers with CPN substitution values.

Note: You can also program CPN substitution for individual directory numbers in the Associated Directory Number Assignment form. Programming in the Associated Directory Number form takes precedence over programming in this form. Thus, if there is CPN substitution programmed for an individual DN in the Associated Directory Number Assignment form, it is followed and the substitution in this form is ignored.
